The Officers and Leadership Circle of the Congregational Church of West Medford | Sanctuary UCC issue this call to a meeting of the governing body which will span two meetings with the agenda as follows:

Saturday, January 27, 2018 (9:00 am to 11:00 am)

  1. Proposed CCWM/Sanctuary By-Law Change for Sustainability: Receive, Discuss and Vote; (posted below)
  2. Receive 2017 CCWM Year-End Financial Reports and Vote to Accept;
  3. Proposed 2018 Staffing Model and Ministry Plan for Sustainability: Receive and Discuss;
  4. Proposed 2018 Lakota YouthStay Ministry and Budget: Receive and Discuss;
  5. Proposed 2018 Budget: Receive and Discuss;

Sunday, February 4, 2018 (11:00 am)

  1. Receive 2017 CCWM Annual Ministry Report;
  2. Vote on 2018 Budget;
  3. Vote on extending guarantee of lead pastor contract to Dec. 31, 2019; 2018.02.04 Lead Pastor Contract Extension 2018.2019
  4. Vote on nominations for Leadership Circle, Nominating Committee (aka: Circles and Service Team) and Trustees (if approved in proposed By-Law change);
  5. Information about the BTS-Grant LOI for Invitation and Engagement in Sanctuary Ministries;
  6. Consider other new business as brought forth by members or friends of the congregation.

Reports and proposals will be posted below via links to printable documents at least one week prior to the meeting date on which they are voted. Printed reports will be made available at the church office.

All members, partners and friends are encouraged to participate. Those eligible per the bylaws in place during the vote will be afforded one vote.

The Annual Business Meeting will be called to order on Jan 27 and suspended at 11:00 am; and re-opened on Feb 4 and concluded at the close of the agenda. Notes will be posted as above 48 hours after the close of the Jan 27 meeting,

Please note: these documents will be uploaded as they become available; once uploaded your will see a link next to the document name

*Beginning with 2016 a non-profit accounting software system has been implemented, changing the title of two reports. For your information the ‘Balance Sheet’ becomes Statement of Financial Position and the ‘Profit and Loss Statement’ becomes Statement of Activity.
