Introducing Sheri Wilson, Sanctuary Manager

It is with joy and excitement that we announce Sheri Wilson to the position of Sanctuary Manager!  

Sheri brings the very same progressive faith-based values to our community that we embrace, along with a strong strategic and administrative background.  Her very unique cross-industry experience and rare breadth-of-knowledge pairs with a lovely and creative spirit.  We can’t wait for you to meet her.

The intersection of faith and ministry, business, communities and consumers, marketing, development, and passion for this work all come together quite strikingly with Sheri, who specializes in helping small-to-medium organizations realize their potential.  Her “special ingredient” is helping people capitalize on existing strengths while improving areas where additional focus would bring the most benefit.  

Sheri will help Sanctuary deliver our defined messages and ministries to our beloved community.  She is thrilled to be working with the Leadership Circle and Ministry Teams, Rev. Wendy, Ray, Alex, the soon to be hired permanent Office Administrator, Social Media Coordinator, and YOU! to spearhead Development/Fundraising, Marketing/Social Media, and Communications efforts and support Sanctuary’s ministries with her deep expertise and broad experience.

Sheri and her wife Larainne (who is a UCC Faith Formation Director) live in Georgetown with all of their six children (yes, SIX!) who range in age from 27 to 4-year-old twins.  If she had spare time, she would enjoy crafting, reading, and sleeping.
